Two decades of honest, hard-working metal craft
Cascade Mobile Welding is owned and run by Nick, a welder with more than 20 years of experience building and installing custom metalwork. Every railing, gate and fence that carries our name is built by someone who has spent his career at the welding table and on job sites around Portland and Vancouver.
Nick built this business the old-fashioned way — on honesty, hard work and treating every client fairly. You get straight answers, a clear quote and a finished job you’ll be proud of for years.
Away from work, Nick is a family man. That’s a big part of why he takes care in other people’s homes: he builds every project as if it were going into his own.
How Nick does business
Simple principles that have kept customers, builders and neighbors coming back for years.
Honesty
Straight answers, realistic timelines and clear written quotes. If something isn’t the right fit for your home, we’ll tell you.
Hard work
Precise measurements, solid welds and clean installs. We show up when we say we will and don’t leave until it’s done right.
Fair treatment
Fair pricing and the same care whether it’s a small handrail repair or a full custom railing for a luxury home.
Railings for Street of Dreams and luxury custom homes
Nick’s railings have been installed in Street of Dreams showcase homes and multi-million-dollar custom homes in the Portland area — projects where every detail is on display and the work has to be flawless.
That same level of craftsmanship goes into every job we take on, from a simple porch handrail to a full interior staircase. Builders and remodelers trust us for the same reason homeowners do: it’s built right, it fits right, and it’s done when we say it will be.
The owner Nick is not just a pro at his craft but a genuine person.★★★★★Google review
